I had the first version of Kindle, but the screen was so small, & large print reading, I turned the pages non-stop it seemed. I was going into get the Kindle 2, but the DX came out, only a few months, then decided into wait. I’m glad I waited.
More side:
The battery life is fantastic, maybe my old switch was getting old, but it seemed that I was responsible thing every two days. The DX is a dream. It has taken a vacation for over a week & has never needed into load it.
Now, people say they do never like you can never put a memory card that I had on my old Kindle. But I have built an extensive library on Amazon, & it will be there forever, so why do you need a memory card. The books remain on Amazon, dust free & tidy. And you can download & mail, any e-book for just cents at your DX. Excuse me, but 3500 books seem a surprising amount of room. Your library of the Amazon, you can keep on Amazon, so it’s a memory card there.
The heaviness was weird at first for me, but you gradually increase.
negative side:
I do wish they would have a page turner right & left. I miss the left.
It does take some getting used into the weight difference. My Kindle is a light as a feather.
In truth, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages & I am happy as a clam with my Kindle DX.
Now, what I want is something you can cover it with, so you can read in the bathtub or swimming pool or the beach & never worry about getting wet. They splash proof cover, but want one that is impervious into water, in case it falls into a pool. You know the kind they make for iPod, it floats & keeps your iPod dry.
Kindle DX becomes all the 4 stars from me, take off one star for forgetting into put this page turner into the left. Hello, What did you guys think?
I must add, I think at present you would have a way into drop your books better. I organize my books of fiction, Romance, Thriller, etc. I hate my search for books by author or title, we sometimes forget who the author or even what the title was, if the bought months ago.
