    I read a lot of romance, and enjoy reading sex scenes, so I’m no prude. Lately I’ve even been reading quite a bit of B and C grade junk. But nothing could have prepared me for the craptastic horribleness that was this book. With absolutely no plot to speak of, insipid characters and lame dialog, combined with cheesy and somewhat creepy sex scenes, I feel the need for a shower, and a magic pill to purge my mind from any memories of this book.

    Lindsey Bell and her two best friends have sworn off men. Every one she dates is a lazy good-for-nothing, interested only in her money. But she has her Interior Design business – and a new client – to keep her busy. The best part? The new client has given her carte blanche to design a BDSM-themed room in an old Victorian Inn.

    Brad Caldwell has been hired to tear down a wall in the room Lindsey is working on, in order to expand the space. But the more he’s around Lindsey, the more he wants to get to know her. So he gives her an offer she can’t refuse – he’ll help her test out all that brand new equipment she’s been ordering for the room. And that’s when things get really hot!

    Another short-but-sexy tale by Cathryn Fox. I’m not usually a big fan of novellas, but I have yet to read one by Ms. Fox that I haven’t really liked. She knows how to create depth of character and story in spite of potential length restrictions. All Tied Up was no exception – its a fun story with believable characters, witty dialog, and as usual – great sex, and lots of it. Yum!

    This was a fun read. Really cute story, nice HEA ending. I guess it didn’t rate higher because it was less steamy than I had hoped. I mean sure, they had a bit of fun, I just wasn’t mentally invested in either of the main characters. I’m hoping the second book is better.

    this is a “romance” that is NOT – just a lot of not very well written sex. smut without a redeeming story…
